Arkansas Fishing

The state of Arkansas offers a variety of fishing for a variety of bass including striped bass, largemouths, smallmouths, white, spotted and rock bass. Crappie fishing is available in most waters as is catfish and panfish. Some excellent trout fishing is available on some of the rivers and streams.

Arkansas Lake Locations

Beaver Lake : 30,000-acre impoundment located in the north-west corner of the state just east of Rogers, Arkansas.

Bull Shoals Lake : 45,000 acre reservoir located in the extreme north, center of the state just west of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Lake Conway : 6,500-acre lake located in the center of the state just north of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Lake Dardanelle : 40,000-acre lake situated in the north, north-central part of the state, immediately west of Russelville, Arkansas.

Greers Ferry Lake : 32,000-acre lake located in north-central Arkansas 80 miles north of Little Rock.

Lake Hamilton is a 7,200-acre lake located mid-state slightly west of center, immediately south of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Lake Jack Lee : 10,000-acre lake located in the far south-central portion of the state just above the Arkansas - Louisiana borderat Felsenthal, Arkansas.

Lake Maumelle : 8,500-acre lake located 15 miles north-west of Little Rock in the center of Arkansas.

Lake Millwood : 35,000-acre lake located in the far south-west corner of the state, immmediately west of Saratoga, Arkansas.

Norfolk Lake : 22,000-acre lake located in the extreme north, center of the state just east of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Lake Ouachita : 40,000-acre lake located mid-state slightly west of center, 25 miles north-west of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
