Abiquiu Reservoir : 5,200-acre lake in the north-western part of the state, 2 miles north of Canones, NM.

Brantley Lake : 4,000-acre lake in the south-east of the state, 15 miles south of Artesia, NM.

Caballo Lake : 11,400-acre lake in the south-west part of the state, at Caballo, NM.

Conchas Lake : 9,600-acre lake in the north-east part of the state, 20 miles north-west of Tucumcari, NM.

Eagle Nest Lake : 2,400-acre lake in the north-east part of the state, at Eagle Nest, NM.

El Vado Lake : 3,200-acre lake in the north-central part of the state, 8 miles south-west of Tierra Amarilla, NM.

Elephant Butte Reservoir : 36,000-acre lake in the west-central part of the state, at Truth or Consequences, NM.

Heron Lake : 5,900-acre lake in the north-central part of the state, at Tierra Amarilla, NM.

Navajo Lake : 15,000-acre lake on the northern border of the state, 15 miles north-east of Bloomfield, NM.

Red Bluff Reservoir : 11,000-acre lake on the southern border of the state, 15 miles south of Malaga, NM.

Santa Rosa Lake : 3,800-acre lake in the east-central part of the state, at Santa Rosa, NM.

Sumner Lake : 4,500-acre lake in the east-central part of the state, 15 miles north-west of Fort Sumner, NM.

Ute Lake : 8,200-acre lake in the eastern-central part of the state, at Logan, NM.
