Pennsylvania Fishing

The state of Pennsylvania offers an excellent variety of quality fishing including lakes, ponds, streams and rivers. Some ice fishing is available in winter. Penn fishing includes big walleyes, smallmouth bass and stripers attract the vast numbers of anglers but there is some great crappie, perch, catfish and other species available throughout PA.

Pennsylvania Fishing Lake Locations

Allegheny Reservoir : 12,000-acre lake on the northern border of the state, at Warren, PA.

Blue Marsh Lake : 1,150-acre lake in the east-central part of the state, at Mt Pleasant, PA.

Glendale Lake : 1,600-acre lake in the central part of the state, at Fallentimber, PA.

High Point Reservoir : 350-acre lake in the south-west part of the state, at Savage, PA.

Lake Arthur : 3,200-acre lake in the west-central part of the state, at Muddy Creek, PA.

Lake Erie : 9,910 square-mile lake on the border of the state along the north-west corner of Pennsylvania.

Lake Wallenpaupack : 5,600-acre lake in the north-east part of the state, at Paupack, PA.

Pymatuning Lake : 14,600-acre lake on the western border of the state, at Linesville, PA.

Raystown Lake : 8,000-acre lake in the south-central part of the state, at Marklesburg, PA.

Shenango River Lake : 11,000-acre lake in the north-west part of the state, at Clark, PA.

Tamarack Lake : 560-acre lake in the north-west part of the state, at Meadville, PA.

Youghiogheny River Lake : 2,800-acre lake in the south-west part of the state, at Markleysburg, PA.
